I would like for all of you to know that I have had the pleasure of knowing Shyron Bynog since 1990. She is my best and loyal friend. I think that she has tremendous people skills. She is smart and always fast to complete any task with amazing creativity.

I think that Shyron is "chameleon" like and can fit into virtually any environment with grace and ease--- provided there is limited abuse from the "higher echelons" ---The so called Holier-Than-Thou. I have found that if you are polite to Shyron and treat her with respect that she will deliver much more than the scope of her responsibilities.

But beware, if Shyron decides to speak up for any reason there is usually a very just cause for it and you may get far more than you bargained for. I, for one, am grateful and Thank God that this lady is not intimidated, and does not back down but will speak her mind to the "big boys" who always try to squash her.

I believe that Shyron has an inner moral compass and tries to be a righteous person. I believe that she has been right on target every time that she has taken a stand on employee abuses and New York Labor Law practices.

I know for a fact that Shryon really cares about people. And, excuse me, if I'm wrong but isn't that what a building guardian should do?

Lastly, you were lucky to have this genuinely forthright, smart, fast lady working for you, Green whatever. She is irreplaceable! If you don't think so call me in three years and tell me how many replacements have gone through your "system."

I met Shyon Bynog in 1993 when Shyron was an attendant in the lobby of the building where I worked for several years. What began as a passing greeting in the lobby has grown into an invaluable friendship of twelve years. I don't expect many people to understand Shyron or the steps that she takes to ensure integrity of self and her concern for those around her. It is much easier to look the other way or do nothing - isn't it? After our lives are comfortable enough. Shyron Bynog on the other hand speaks out on the corruption around her. But Justice is often interpreted by the rich and the powerful to their satisfaction. Another shinning example of democracy in this country, as long as we speak it, there is little reason to be it. In the twelve years I have known Shyron Bynog, I have witnessed her personal losses both financial and social. I have even implored her to make things easier on herself by not speaking out, and her response as always been, "but is that the right thing to do?" and I can only be silent. I admire her greatly. I look up to her but more important she has set an example of speaking out for the underdog regardless of the cost. She has taught me that actual integrity comes from action and character and that is the only way it can be. Someday I hope instead of being intimidated, we will honor her ethics and use them in an instrumental way. It is my hope that someday she will have the break she deserves, and the chance to do the right thing and see the results of her hard work.

First of all, I have to thank you Shyron, for the kind way in, which I was received at your audition for the production of Camille. Your confidence and compassion helped me to relax and think that behind that audition door were people who also wanted me to succeeded--- and not those terrible monsters that I sometimes create in our own mind that seem ready to devour me and all my opportunities.

It was quite a challenge for me being from Portugal and having to perform and learn all my lines in English combined with it being my fist time in an Off-Off Broadway classic play. But I felt comfortable during the rehearsal process and I had total freedom to experience and discover the many sides of my character. During the run of the show, I was very impressed to see how beautiful and professional all the sets were designed and it gave me the experience of a real home setting that always helps me to perform my best. The whole experience was great! Thanks again for the opportunity of me being able to express my ideas and myself. To everyone involved in the run of Camille, my most heartfelt gratitude.

I first met Shyron Bynog in acting school back in the early 90s. Many times we were cast as scene partners; she always learned her lines better and sooner than I. We were always prepared for our scenes, down to the costume details and the props, which other students always borrowed from us (until I put a stop to that). Shyron never objected.

In September 1993, Shyron got me my first cater-waiting gig. She trained me, and I will never forget that first Saturday night of hell. She ran me ragged, but I surely learned thoroughly. That woman never stops; she can do anything and everything, and look as fresh as she did when arriving at work. Since then, we have worked together many times, and she continues to get jobs for me through her network.

Her next project was to found a theatrical production company, Phasis II, which now has non-profit status. Anyone who has a clue about the patience, hard work, perseverance, and intelligence it takes to get something like that up and running will understand the backbone and character Shyron possesses. All the people she comes in contact with are amazed at her ability to juggle many things and keep all the details in her head -- all this done without any outward hint of stress.

I am fortunate and proud to know Shyron Bynog. She has flawlessly performed any task asked of her with honesty, efficiency, and professionalism. When I have seen hard times, Shyron has been there to extend a helping hand. And when times have been good, she has been there to laugh with me. She is a rare combination of compassion and know-how.

Shyron Bynog is my first cousin. Her mother and my father are siblings. Both of us have fathers who elected to pursue military careers. My contact with Shyron, as we grew up, was intermittent as we followed our fathers honoring their government commitments in a variety of domestic and foreign assignments.

As adults, Shyron and I have continued our intermittent contacts. I always find myself happily surprised and amazed at choices she has made. Shyron has chosen a non-traditional path, eschewing the typical middle class goals of marriage and children, and instead steadfastly following a more personal dream. Her interest in the arts has taken her from modeling assignments in the Orient to managing an independent theater company in New York.

I have witnessed Shyron's strength of character as she gracefully faced a tragedy that few us are called on to endure. I continue to admire her perseverance in a profession that offers ongoing rejection and never enough rewards. She has succeeded where I failed by remaining in New York City long enough to legitimately call herself a resident rather than a visitor. She is sensitive, kind, perceptive and loyal. I have nothing but admiration for her character. I am grateful for her continued interest in the lives of her Louisiana relatives.

My first encounter with Shyron was on the 4th of August 2003, I met her while trying to find a business on Park Avenue, while discussing my situation, Shyron offered advice and support, with her help I was able to become involved with an off Broadway play. Shyron has become a person I can count on for morale support, in addition to being a wealth of contact information for just about any needs that I might have. There are few people that we met in our lives that we can count on in times of need, Shyron has become one of those people for me. I am grateful for her compassion and understanding at various times over the last year.

Efficiency accompanied by courtesy is a rare combination in today's work world. The courtesy you extended to me each day was impressive because of its rarity. I even felt safe coming in to the office during those early hours knowing you would be there to greet me. I realize a thank-you is a small reward for your diligent work. I am so sorry that you are no longer a part of my day. Good luck to you and God Bless you.

I have known Shyron Bynog for several years. Initially we shared an office together and I found Shyron to be courteous, amiable, hard working, congenial and helpful to anyone needing assistance. She could always be counted on for a smile and a kind word.

I have also witnessed her work and dedication in producing plays, which I attended (and thoroughly enjoyed). Her ability to get along with others is impressive and I have yet to meet a person who did not have good things to say about her.

I have known Shyron Bynog personally and professionally since 2001. I consider her to have impeccable judgment and to be capable of tremendous generosity; qualities that are often in short supply. Shyron is courageous in her defense of what's right, a character trait that is highly admirable. She also sets a fine example for other individuals with whom she interacts.

I was not a witness to the event that has prompted Shyron to request some of her close colleagues to write letters of reference on her behalf. I can not therefore comment on the event itself. However, from what I know of Shyron's behavior, including the integrity that is at the core of how she conducts herself, I can only think that there was a mistake in judgment regarding her behavior at the time of the incident. My unshakable impression is that Shyron would have only conducted herself in a way that would have given credit to her role as a helpful passerby and a professional within proximity of her workplace.

In the past year, I have worked alongside Shyron as associate director of Phasis ii. This is an organization that Shyron founded to help struggling actors more fully participate in their craft and gain wider visibility with an audience, potential talent scouts and other professionals. She has diligently and selflessly opened up opportunities to numerous, talented individuals, all while working a separate full-time job. Having myself worked so closely with Shyron, I know that she is not what she has been described as being in the above-mentioned incident.

I hope that this statement will be useful in the assessment of Shyron's character, and I would be pleased to be contacted for further comment if this can help in any way.

This is to advise you that I am an Off-Premises Caterer located in Brooklyn Heights Area. However, my business extends over all five Boroughs. For the past six years, Shyron Bynog has worked with me as my headwaiter. In this position, she consistently demonstrates the ability to take full charge and has gained the respect and cooperation of other waiters and customers alike. I constantly refer to her as my right arm.

As I am sure you well know, this can be a laborious and difficult business because of the time constraints and the many demands placed upon one, such as setting up and breaking down tables and chairs etc. Nevertheless, Shyron never complains and gets the job done in an effective and timely manner.

Please note that my customers come from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds. However, Shyron never makes a distention between them. She strives at getting the job done in a forthright and professional manner for every customer. That is what sets her apart from all the rest. Many of my customers request her service.

I could go on and on, but without sounding repetitious, I will stop here. If you would like more detailed information, please feel free to call me.

I have known Shyron Bynog and corresponded with her since 1982. Her father and I worked together as officers with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections. Her father, Mr. Lester Bynog and I were close co-workers as well as close friends. I was the one of the pallbearers at her father's funeral. His funeral occurred in 1982 at which time I met his daughter, Ms. Bynog. Shyron and I have corresponded by regular mail, phone and email ever since. I have known her to be a person with a good heart and understanding of others needs. Our correspondence through the years has proven to me that she is a true giver of human kindness and seems always to place herself second to anyone else that may be in greater need. During the September 11, 2001 crisis, I sent Ms. Bynog some money to possibly help her and or maybe friend or two in her close vicinity and told her that the money was interest free and hoped that it helped her. Nothing doing this lady but to send that sum plus $50 extra back to me at a later date. She knew I didn't need or want the extra money but her heart and will to show gratitude overpowered her. Therefore, this is just an example of how Ms. Bynog thinks and reacts. Please feel free to contact me on behalf of a lady that I know only has the best interest of everyone in mind and heart.
